So let’s face it. Trump is the new mafia. He is Sam Giancana born to money and willing to flaunt his criminality on TV, radio and the Internet. He is like the other five families, but operates in the white collar world . . . the sixth family.
His enablers, the Republicans in Congress, don’t realize that this isn’t a political battle . . Democrats versus Republicans. It is a battle not unlike the battle with the mafia in the 20th century. It is the organized and well-funded criminals against the American people.
It is criminality versus lawful behavior. This shouldn’t have political demarcations or dimensions.
So, why don’t we use the RICO statutes to address this corruption?
Obviously, it is because the consigliere of this family is the Attorney General.
