My shoulder is hurting. I can’t determine if it is the swinging of the golf club, chopping branches with a clipper, typing on the keyboard, lifting a very heavy table, carrying rocks around, or digging in the backyard that has caused it. But, it has now been hurting for about six weeks.
I have tried to keep up with all my normal responsibilities hoping the pain will dissipate, to no avail. It still hurts.
I have, therefore, decided to play golf, watch TV, read books and ask Nancy to do all the heavy work around the house until this pain in my shoulder is gone.
I am hoping she doesn’t get a pain in her shoulder too. . . or we will both be playing golf and watching TV . . and Fiona, our cat, will have to do the heavy lifting.
By the way, even though I am slacking on the golf course, I have made sure that I have voted. Maybe, I’ll run into Donald there.
