Repeating the Past Because We Can’t Learn From It

In the development of mechanisms to manage the growth of humanity . . the development of governments . . we have stumbled into all kinds of problems.  But, we have been resilient and have learned from the past and tend not to make the same errors over and over again.  It is incumbent on the most sophisticated government in the world to develop, understand and improve this capability.  All the other governments of the world are watching, and following.

We have stopped trying to tinker with other governments even though we have always thought that we knew better who their leaders should be.  We have discovered that we don’t.  They are the ones that know the best.  However, that hasn’t stopped the arrogant among us . .the Dick Cheneys and now the Donald Trumps and Mike Pompeos from unlearning what took 70 years and  millions of lives to learn.

I have always said that Donald Trump is not bright enough to do this job.

And, now he is proving it, in spades, in Iran.   Do millions more have to die because he  is not educated and has not been able to learn from the past?
