Remember the Peloponnesian War?

I would like to think that bad people are punished and good people are rewarded.

This would seem fair.  This is what our education and the major part of our social conditioning has taught us.  So when sociopaths like Donald Trump come along, unable to comprehend the complexities and norms of our society crushing our cherished china, it is a shock.

I would like to think he would be punished in some way for his inability to grow out of adolescence and his inherent failure as a human being.

But, then I remember that Sparta defeated Athens . . .
