Pass the Paprika

I am up in the mountains writing this blog.  I have been assured that the germs do not want to risk the journey up the mountain and, therefore, it is safe up here.   Originally, I was concerned, because I saw a few of them in the driveway and had to chase them away with my 7 iron.  I did notice, however, that you can’t put any spin on a germ so it won’t curve left or right.  Too bad.

I have heard that losing your sense of smell or taste is an anecdotally early sign of having the virus.  So every morning I sneak into the kitchen and try to smell the pepper or paprika to see if I am in any danger.  I am happy to report that for at least another day I can smell . . and sneeze.

It is well known that if you stay in isolation too long you go crazy.  But, how much crazier can you get than sniffing pepper and chasing giant germs down the street with a seven iron?

I rest my case.  Now, pass the paprika.

    • Sadly true. However, the good news is that, at some point, I must have had it. Now, if I could only remember when that was . . or what I did with it! 🙂
