No Matter How Hard You Try

In theatre, there is a standard formula for a plot that goes like this . . introduction, complications, build to a climax, and denoument.  There might be a slight twist here or there, but, in general, all great theatre follows this formula.  You can make changes at your great peril, before you are ushered off-stage left.

A big surprise to me is that this is also the case for life.  I won’t bore you with the details.  I am sharing this great insight that just took flight from one of the few molecules in my brain, because of the following thought.

It is difficult to operate out of norm. . . can’t put the denoument before the climax, can’t make a climax before the problem is defined, can’t put the climax before the introduction.  You can do these things in life, and people have done them, but, they don’t carry the same value.

You are not the same physical and chemical person you were in the past, so while you may redo the same physical activities, you can’t recapture that wonderful feeling, that wonderful experience, no matter how great it was . . and no matter how you try.

To Be Continued.
