It seems that if someone is working for another government and they are making plans to attack a person or an embassy of the United States, we are authorized to kill them, even if there was no actual proof of this and the people behind the allegations are, at least occasionally, delusional.
That would mean we could go after Syria, Iraq, East Timor, Chile. . . and, while we are at it, why not get rid of the leaders of Venezuela and Denmark? How’s about going after China? After all, they hold a large percentage of our debt and we could wipe the slate clean with a well-placed missile! Alan Greenspan, take that!
And, while we are at it, let’s lob a missle over to Al-Assad! I would say Russia and North Korea, but they are comrades with Trump . . you don’t kill comrades in arms.
So there we have the current state of the paranoia that was engendered in the 50’s. This is just an extension of McCarthyism, McCarthyism on steroids. McCarthy wasn’t President and there were actual leaders in Congress in the 50’s who had integrity. It is ironic that Trump has fallen victim to the very conspiracy theories to which he ascribes. But, such is the fate of the ignorant and uneducated.
To wrap this up, I have decided to send a list to Congress of every person that I suspect of plotting against an American or an American site. If you have any suggestions, please send them along . . and don’t bother filling out the reason why . . it doesn’t matter.
