Dumb As A Sack of Hammers

Either you jump off a cliff willingly or it’s inadvertent.

Inadvertent jumping.  That’s bad and should be avoided at all cost.  I have done this on occasion and am glad I am still alive to talk about it.  I dived into the water at Hanauma Bay when I was 15, vainly trying to impress the girls in my class, only to hit a rock just under the surface.  That was inadvertent, stupid, and may be the reason for my mental instability throughout my life. . but I digress.

Me, having to go over the waterfall at the water park with the boys when they were young, well, that was done willingly . . I willingly gave up my body for a greater cause.  I actually expected to live through it even though, at the time, I had my doubts.  But, I am still here, like I said, instability and all.

Back in the early days of the Super Bowl, Apple had a very famous commercial about people blindly walking over a cliff (and buying PC’s rather than Apple machines).  It caused a gnashing of teeth, but was very effective . . Instability aside, I think I can still remember it . . . 😊

So, yesterday, I heard a quote from a Republican Senator at a Trump rally say about a member of the opposing party, ”It must suck to be that dumb”.    I would just like to bring back that Apple commercial and insert Mitch McConnell, Lindsay Graham and all the other Republicans who are walking off the cliff with Donald Trump and share with them this thought:

It must suck to be THAT dumb!
