Kellyanne Conway is in court because a woman assaulted her . . at least with epithets and some physical jostling. In Maryland, this is illegal, even if it is just the epithets. One could argue that Kellyanne is a public figure and is therefore not immune to people expressing their opinion to her in a public place. But, no one should be physically assaulted for their opinions in America. Whether these are the facts or there is ultimate criminality is yet to be determined.
But, this reminds me of the guy who jumped out of an airplane, enjoyed the view on the way down, and, on seeing the earth approaching, complained that it wasn’t fair that he was going to have to die.
