Apologies to Pete

Pete Butigieg has done well in the primaries.  He is impressive as an individual and candidate, certainly one of the strongest.  So, I want to offer my apologies before I even share my thoughts on the primary results in Iowa.

I have been concerned about the morphing of the election interference by Russia and the Trump campaign, using other strategies that we won’t find out about for a number of years . . probably only after Trump leaves office.

Their initial strategy was to discredit Joe Biden and diminish his support, since he is the strongest candidate if one considers more than just regional issues.  This has been the focus of Russia and Trump for awhile . . and it appears to be working, in part, thanks to the Republican collusion in the cover-up.

I only want to make this observation.  If Russia and Trump wanted to win the election in 2020, they would only have to support the people who had the smallest chance of winning in November.

They appear to be accomplishing all of their goals.
